Founder & Managing Director
Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Advertising department, has made her an early bird in the advertising market as a graphic designer. In 2001, she started her career as a graphic designer in the advertising field. Then, she started her own startup in 2007, registered as a trademark in 2021.
As an Egyptian visual artist, Hana thought that only leading the advertising agency is not meant for her. Digging inside her inner self, she realized that she is enchanted by the Egyptian Heritage and obsessed with creating visual elements which revive the unique rich native Egyptian heritage and blend it with exotic contemporary art. So, she created the brand name “Hana Designs” in 2010, a novel brand, home accessories promotional material and giveaways, products made of an exceptional blend of Egyptian ancient folkloric motif flavored with original and trendy contemporary art. It is always in that unique blend where the magic spirit lies.
Now that Hana Designs is renowned nationwide, the brand has a strong presence in other markets in the Arab world and Europe designing for international brands.
